Check out IDSMail from Intuitive-Data Solutions. They have an active-x component that works with Notes. As far as memory, I have no idea, I posted a similiar question myself and received no response. Guess I'll buy it and see, I'm submitting a request for my company to buy it on monday...should only take 1 to 3 weeks to get !
