There's soe sort of odd bug at work here. I've never seen the case change on any of the properties, .Name included. You might check the Properties memo for the form maybe there's something screwy in there.

The case doesn't really matter, unless you are testing for the specific case, I typically always use UPPER() or LOWER() to make that kind of search case insensitive.

You close the form (.scx) and the case changes to UPPER for no discernable reason when it's next opened (even immediately). The form in question is a great grandchild of the base class. I had made no significant changes to the form and the form works just fine in all other respects.
