>Well put. It reminds me of a visit to the
Museum of Military History in Vienna years ago. There is a room dedicated to
Archduke Ferdinand and even has
the car where he was killed. I was surprised at their description of the incident. I always knew of
Gavrilo Princip, a young anarchist that killed him in his open car. This was, as we know the trigger for WWI. In the museum, the description is different. He is not mentioned by name, but only as a "terrorist". I am sure our slavic friends have a totally different view.
It's a known thing (that maybe needs to be retold every few years) that they are trying to rewrite history, despite having lost the war.
They are, of course, omitting the fact that they were only given a protectorate over Bosnia and Herzegovina after the Ottoman Turks have left, but have turned it into their own territory despite all the international contracts that were signed in the late 1800s. And of course, anyone who acts against their rule is a terrorist, and if possible, an agent of a country they don't like.
