in order to significantly increase the speed of an import routine we have, i'd like to delete all relations in a dbc, do the import work, the recall the deleted records from the dbc.

i don't care about checking the ri on the data i am importing.

i just did this, and was surprised to find that vfp allowed the relation records to be restored fine, even though some of the data violated some of the ri!

other than wrapping things in transactions so something like a power failure won't mess up the dbc, is there any reason why this won't work?
