The files have been saved many times before. When I hit the red "X" after making changes vfp asks me if I want to save the changes. I click "Yes" and it saves the scx & sct files. When the "poof" deal occurs, after I click "Yes" it gives me the error message, asks if I want to send a msg to ms, and throws me out to the the desktop.
I've been programming 40 years (16 with fp) and never seen anything like this either.
I see absolutely no pattern to it. The usual "hackie" programming cycle. . . make changes to the form, save the form, recompile the project, and test the project.
I'm almost ready to put vfp 9.1 on another pc and see if it happens on that pc.
Not sure where to look . . Hardware, operating system, vfp9, CodeMine 7.5, or what?
