>>>It's much better. Lasted about 6 months and slowly faded. When I'm tired it shows in my eye and corner of the mouth. They kind of twist together a bit. If I yawn hard, then I'll still get an Elvis snarl that lasts for a few seconds or so. No ear pain anymore though - that was the most severe pain I've ever felt. I would just sit at work with tears coming down my face. And my ear hurt too! <g>

>>That is good news Jay! Are you still baking?

>Funny you ask, I was hired by Harris Teeter to do their cakes and teach at some of their stores, but this was just prior to getting my current gig. I couldn't fit both in and working for $12/hr vs working for, well, substantially more, made the decision for me. I still do one every month or so for friends/family and the occasional paying customer. I really need to scan the pics I have and compile them into a Picasa album. I did a wedding cake last Autumn, but I don't think I'll do that again. Way too much stress!
I have to make one of my German Cheese Cakes. I am more into pies than cakes. I can imagine the stress of doing a Weding Cake! I have heard horror stories from several people.
Another hobby of mine is photography. A friend got married and hired a professional photographer to do the wedding. She asked me to bring my camera. I let the pro do his job and then took my own shots. Our friend liked my work better. There is no way that I want to do a wedding shoot. If something goes wrong... YIKES! :)
