I'm trying to know this same things.
There is an answer about this topic of Craig Bergtson saying that in a deployment the exe should be in c:\program files\myapp.
My guess is that the development files could be in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\MyApp
and data files could be in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data
or in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\MyApp\MyData
Is this correct?, or at least, am I al least near to the answer?

Hernan
