Yes, I understand. It's kind of a focus indeed. A focus without the possibility to select text, but the cell will get a thick border anyway and the user can use the up/down arrows to move to another row. In certain cisrcumstances that can be handy. But it's not the type of focus that most of us will have in mind when thinking of focus. So, we need another word or phrase here. Perhaps the native speakers can come up with a phrase.
