There are lots of barbaric acts that people get up to. So what? Are you trying to suggest that this barbaric act is ok because there are also other barbaric acts? To take a completely helpless individual and cold bloodedly murder him/her? Yes I think that's one of the worst thing a civilised person can do.

When did I suggest that society can or can't do it? They do it all the time. I just would rather they didn't pretend they're doing it in my name.
