Hmmm... I always thought there was an "Administrator" account.

What happens when you right click on the folder, go to Properties, and go to the Security tab?

>If there is only one user, aren't they the only administrator with full rights? I think that's the case.

>>I don't know if this will make a difference, but can you log in with THE "administrator" account and see what you can do? I could be wrong, but I think there is a difference between administrative account and the administrator account.

>>>Nope, there is only one user, "Jay," who is also the administrator. I think the issue is that the other one, "Jay Johengen," was also an administrator. I can't believe I can't delete this directory.

This time my administrator is under "Jay" and I wanted to get some of the files (My Documents) that were under "Jay Johengen." I restored that directory, but now XP won't let me do anything because it says I don't have rights. Can't look at it, deleted, move it, nada. I just want it gone at this point. Anyone? Thanks!
