>>>As I always have said and history has proven me right... But that was not the reason for the trolling messages. Trolling is not the same as disagreeing. Many people agreed upon the trolling classification though.

>>>In short, I disagree with you on many subjects as I think you've got a very narrow minded mindset on software developement though you found a personal comfortable way to work your way arround in .NET. JR and myself will continue to point out the pitfalls and holes in your apprach, once you try to extrapolate this to other scenarios.

>>>However trolling is something else. You can dive up one of those messages to follow the link provided with it. It contains a definition of 'trolling'. You do not fall into that category. JVP definately did (not only my conclusion).

>>How arrogant! First you say Kevin has "a very narrow minded mindset on software development," then you promise to "point out the pitfalls and holes in your approach." You're sounding a little God-like there, Walter.

>Depends on your viewpoint. If someone is giving others wrong advise on software development and you see this happening in front of your nose and if possible discredit VFP for that matter, do you step in or not ?? On several occassions Kevin has proven that with his stored procedure approach creates various problems because of many limitations that go with it (Change tracking, conflict control, handling null values, wrapping several updates into one transaction, etc). Even this was pointed out to him on several occasions, he refused to admit it and still would gospel the stored procedures route. Ignorant, arrogant or what ?? And then there is the reoccuring tactic of not answering the difficult questions I do ask him repeatedly or not reacting on the samples I give him.

>Walter,

The correct information to you might not be the correct information for everybody. Basically you feel like everybody should do things your way, and if they don't they are wrong, ignorant, and arrogant... do I have that right?
Very fitting: http://xkcd.com/386/
