>Anyway, I just wanted to provide a few words. I have a long drive today to get back home so I hope people will keep a good overview on this site, on its users and the way it has been managed for years. Otherwise, it would have been closed since a very long time I guess.

Michel,

Thanks for taking the time to respond, but you did not address any of the concerns of the membership that have been posted in the threads. Your response contains nothing but reasons why you can't (vacation, time away, taxes, etc.) respond to what's happening. How about posting something about what you can do to assuage the fears of your members regarding security, access to personal information, etc.

The UT I knew as a new-comber to this site 10 years ago has vanished. At that time, it was a tremendous resource, things happened in a timely manner, user were a priority, and you kept us informed. Over the years that has eroded to your last post where you told us basically to "not worry about its none of your business". To paying customers of the UT, it is their business and they deserve better treatment from the UT management.

There are many better sites for information regarding programming, etc., but it is the friends I have here, the mere mortals support forum and the comedic relief provided by the nutty fringe that keeps me here. If not for these, I'd have been gone long ago.

Hopefully, you will do some thinking about customer service and come to a different conclusion about what we're entitlted to know.

Thanks again...
