I actually had a better idea while I was having a lunch break. I neglected to mention in my original message that the Search Results form has also a grid and a timer. I'm thinking, that the timer has to be disabled when the form doesn't have focus and re-enabled when it does. I don't remember seeing it in read-me for the class, but I guess I just need to do it myself then. What's the point of running timer's code if the form is inactive?
Thanks again.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
