Yeah that would be the primary reason for me. Shutdown/startup is pretty damn slow. Actually boot to desktop is fast, but once the desktop is up to actually get a responsive mouse cursor takes twice the boot time again <s>...

In Vista Hibernate/Sleep actually works reliably were on XP it's always been a problem.
