Worse - it IS publicized, but then pushed under the rug. Just like I heard on the radio yesterday, "they pretty much made the historic record sound like a minority opinion".

That's why I've started gathering bookmarks on the most important, IMO, things that I find. It's a nice crutch when your memory won't do.
