Why did you direct this at me? I'm making a joke of what the other nimrod said about Michel having to let us know when he would be around. Did you post incorrectly or just mixing drugs incorrectly?

>For the rest: I'm wondering whether people's concerns about security etc would be satisfied if UT ceased to exist- particularly the loud complainants who don't contribute a bean to the running of UT but still regard themselves as aggrieved customers. Obviously I'm not referring to you there.

>Also FWIW: while it is possible to read Michel's post as an excuse, it seems out of character IMHO. You could also read it as part of the deliberations of a man who has poured his all into UT, fighting governments, foregoing vacations, remaining silent in the face of overt provocations, feeling somewhat little let down by the lack of financial support and by the willingness of people to believe the worst and to hold him to far higher standards than those shown in other boards (try insulting the sysop of other boards the way people have insulted Michel here and you'd be in orbit in a microsecond) ... and who is now on vacation for the first time and enjoying the messages of goodwill sent his way.

>In the past I've suggested that people need to look in the mirror: on this occasion I think people need to stop admiring themselves in the mirror and consider how much "give and take" there is in their relationship with UT.
