>>I did a survey on the new 'Premier Format' in which Pocket Books has started publishing. I hate it frankly and wanted to tell them so. I came to this question: "What do you like best about the new format?" and there were 4 or 5 choices.

>>Well, there is nothing I like about it, but I was forced to pick something in order to continue the survey. Was I cheesed off!?

>They sometimes admit they aren't perfect, so they add some space at the bottom where you can add a few sentences to tell them what you mean. I've taken the opportunity a few times, specially after one Myers-Briggs test, to note that a few questions are culturally biased (which I skipped - I can't possibly answer any question related to my church habits, as I have none).

>As the old joke goes, when the question is "do you feel dominated by others", the offered answers are "yes, sir" and "no, sir".
They did have a comments section at the end, and I did tell them what I thought about the new format, but still a question like that one is not a survey question, it is the type of question designed to get the response they want to hear. There should have been a last choice "none of the above".
It's the old "have you stopped beating your wife" question.
