Your setup files may be damaged. Try running install from the original directory (paraphrased)

deleted compress/images
deleted distrib
deleted wzsetup
deleted dkcontrol
rebuilt many times
removed files with long names :-(
removed dirs with long names

Happens on 4 different machines. 2 different os's

What else could it be, do you know? Is it possible there is corruption in a file...somewhere?
