cable
I got a bit further. In the sync Center I see a device called SD_4G_0320. But I don't see it as a device in (My) Computer. I also don't know what should be updated. I want to sync my outlook contacts and calendar with the phone.

[Update] just rellized this is a SD card with a phone icon. it's noy my Motorola Q at all!!

When I dblclick on the device in Sync Center i get a red progress bar and 1 error: windows media player cannot sync your device.

And my Dell X3 is not visible at all. On XP it synced perfectly...
[Update] I just got my Dell visible

The phone is still not there! whenever I connect/diaconnect the computer peeps with a bobop sound.
