Actually, I talk with Randy frequently. He and I were in near total agreement with the Fox and .Net story while we were both there.

Besides, possibly, Mike Stewart, Randy was the very LEAST bogus person there. The "corporate speak" was given to us from on high. With his leading position as Program Manager, he had to be circumspect in what he said, of course.
