First I would like to hear your answer to what do you see in the column that supposed to show general field content? Probably it is already olebound control displaying the general field content. Is it ?

Other than that, you may define grid properties in the form designer: in the grid properties add number of columns as needed, to the appropriate column add the olebound control and set it as column current control (or just remove the textbox control), etc ....
The same you may do programmatically in, say, form init event.
