We've been having some connection problems with our Browser->VFP->SQL application. I was trying to write a reconnect routine that might work. The only problem I have been having is that whenever you try to reconnect via SQLCONNECT(), the error dialog from the ODBC kicks in and requires human intervention.

Has anyone figured out a way around this?

I'd like to try to write either a reconnect routine or a kill the WestWind server routine, but it's useless if the server is sitting there with an ODBC dialog waiting for someone to press 'Connect' or 'Cancel'.

Help!
