Fred,
>Now that the MM.NET DevExpress overloads are installed, can I upgrade to DevExpress v.7.1.4 and get the benefit of any control fixes in the MM.NET controls?
Quite the conversation you're having <vbg>. If you upgrade to DevExpress v.7.1.4 before we release our update, you can recompile the MM .NET DevExpress assembly as follows:
- Remove the DevExpress assembly references from the project and point them to the new version or correct location of your DevExpress assemblies.
- To generate a new signed key pair for the assembly right-click the project and select Properties from the shortcut menu. using the sn.exe tool. Click on the Signing tab, then in the Choose a strong name key file combo box select .
- In the Create Strong Name Key dialog enter keyPair.snk in the Key file name text box. You can uncheck Protect my key file with a password, then click OK.
After recompiling is complete, you can add the controls to your Visual Studio Toolbox and you should be ready to go
