Ryan Jentzch (don't take that last name spelling as gospel, it's been awhile . . .you know, if everyone changed their last name to Smith, it'd be so much easier!) wrote an article for FoxPro Advisor on this that I consulted to get a service running on my server. The only problem I had was that when I'd log out, the system tray icon would get dropped. The service was still running, but the icon would just disappear (i.e. it wasn't there anymore when I logged back in). Couldn't figure that one out. I guess you could Google that article. There have been some other articles on this subject also.

>I'm trying to following with my own exe, but I'm getting "Invalid Service Name" when I try to start/stop the service. I'm send "" instead of "myparm1 myparm2" as I don't have any parameters setup yet. I know that the name is correct in the REG file, and the name of the EXE. Whassup with this? Thanks!
