We have to remember though, this happened in the land of fruits and nuts where up is down, right is wrong, etc. I simply advocate a progressive disciplinary system where the punishment not only fits the crime, but the frequency of the crimes. Why should a person who is arrested the 200th time get the same sentence as a person arrested once? The first person has already demonstrated they will not do right, so the state should have "adopted" her long before the 200th time.
