I'm not sure I get this idea, but you didn't let me finish my reply :)

Here is the FAQ How to pass cursor between two VFP datasessions (without using XML) FAQ #29297 by Srdjan Djordjevic (I can never write this name from memory correctly) :)
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
