YOur logic sound right, that the way I will make it, but the designer here want to edit all the record in the child form and then return back to the parent form. I read some code that using the method getchanges create another dataset. The problem is that I cant make reference to the members of the subset dataset in a text control. I can't see the object in the intelisence.
