What do u do if u have to support multiple RDBMSs? Like Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, etc.

Like I said in a prior post, then you have a decision to make.

I know 2 places that faced this. One wrote stored procs (they had the resources to do so), and one didn't.

THIS is a case where there's no one simple answer - you have to weigh all the factors.
