Sure I am aware.
What I know for sure is that they support hizbullah and some other Pallestinian fractions and also shia fighters in Iraq, but from their standpoint that is supporting resistance to occupying power (Israel/US in this case).
Aldough they were some direct links on Albania/KLA/Kosovo 'project' (again presented as resistance), am not aware of OsamaBl buddying all over the place with Ahmadinejad. They sure are on the same (muslim) side/page but not close allies.
BTW (Despite stollen watch) Bush is still supporting more less the the same movement (Minus Osama/Iran)

On the other hand, everybody in middle east supports financially or otherwise one or another muslim religious organisation, school or university. That is of course fertile ground for all kind of dark spin-offs to grow, especially lately when few Muslims nations are directly attacked in 3 consecutive wars.
I wlould agree with Charles/You that this is no longer naive at all, but
that is exactly what happen when when things are not aproached in a propper way. Last wars were something like a barrel of oil thrown on top of already
burning fire. You get completely contra-effect and fire that might take (I am afraid) global and disastrous proportions. And all that out of sheer stupidity and God knows whose and what kind of financial interests :(

Imho, another (unilateral) strike by US on one of biggest Muslim countries (Iran) might lead exactly to that. Lasting nightmare of global proportions.
Who will be able to convict ordinary muslims out there, that west (who ever they are) does not wants them all dead/burried ?
Just like Bush *slaughtered* US moderates as traitors, muslims countries might do the the same (radicals winning *ellections*) , and fight much more and more fierce in a future.
As I said before; Certain lines should not be crossed ever and few of those are crossed already.
I posted to Charles my prety much extreeme/naive/dreamer idea of global summit (should hv been done back in 2001) and then I funny idea crossed my
mind ;
Imagine sending Ahmadinejad and Bush at friendly fishing trip - in a tiny little boat! I am sure they would not dare to start any fight in such tight circumstances :))
But more I think of it, better/more sound it looks to me believe me ;
*Nothing bad* can possibly be the outcome of such venture <vbg>

Peace4Change :)
