OIC well I'd always be willing to do that. Someone I know well wrote a novel and had it "vanity published". He got his nephew (who edits a poetry magazine) to proof-read it, as the obvious choice. It annoyed me greatly when I discovered that he hadn't asked me and, when I read the novel, I discovered so many typos and errors that I was enraged. eg gypsies feature a lot in the story and some times they were referred to as "gypsies" and other times "gypsy's" (which is my single-most hated error); nobody in the story ever went to "the pub" - it was always "the local hostelry", a cliche that really irked me after a while. et al, et al.
>I actually thought that and that portion of my comment was only half in jest. As a part-time struggling writer, I thought I might seek your assistance in the future... :o)
