Well this guy is his nephew, intelligent, well educated, very well spoken (posh), self-assured, urbane, etc, etc..... but he can't proof-read worth S**T!

He did publish several 100 copies of this book, which were all sold (many to American tourists - it was about the hop-picking in Kent, just at the outbreak of WW II). So I cringe at the thought of people realising the lack of professionalism gone into its publication. "If summat's worth doing it's worth doing well."

Well, I suppose I do, but to me if a writer can't find a real publisher, either start writing better or give up the idea. Don't pretend you've done something you haven't. There was an article in the newspaper today about an air guitar contest in Chicago this weekend. ISIANMTU. How pathetic!
