fwiw - We got Vista when we bought a new Thinkpad (Z61p) for a sales person. I must say we have not had a single issue with Vista iro the laptop. It runs without hiccup. I was irritated that certain products we use had no Vista version but they have all since been released eg; VMWare for Vista. I have frustrations with various things which are all related to new security features. But we have had no hangups or hardware failures so far. Have you run the Lenova updates?
