I've been with it since '86 as well, and I just recently explored the use of the VFP calculator as well. You can even set the ControlSource of a textbox to _CalcValue and set a timer to refresh its value. Or you can set the ControlSource to an actual data field, and have the Refresh() method code of the textbox to set its value to _CalcValue.
