I already say the only reason I still use Windows is because of VFP. I used to include Quicken in that statement but now there is a Java app that does that.
If another application appeared ... on Linux ... or even the MAC ... that had command line execution and a programming language that included SQL, the public-domain Xbase commands, and maybe the core object-oriented components of, say, Java, I don't think I would ignore it. OK it would be nice if I didn't require a back end data engine ...
VFP on the Mac ... hmmm, now that would be interesting.
