I have a report that has a tall page header (about 5.5 inches) and then a regular, one line detail band. In the detail band there is a field that is a memo field and it has "stretch with overflow" set. If the data to print is lengthy and this field stretches vertically so that it pushes on to another page, the report "hangs." In this case, "hangs" means that it prints and print and prints. The page count in the preview window goes through the roof running into the tens of thousands within seconds. I haven't tried to actually print this report, I'm just previewing. I've tried it under VFP 8, where the program actually runs, and VFP 9 (with reportbehavior set to 80 and 90). With the first two, I get the behavior described. With VFP 9 and report behavior 90, I get a dialog for the report "calculation" process that never goes beyond zero percent. At least in this setup I can cancel. In the other two I have to give it the old three finger salute. Anyone know what might cause this?
