Sorry, I should have been more specific. The code does not generate any errors, but it does not change the font that is on the screen.

Hi, Calvin...

If you've already dropped an instance of the control on the form, and if the Winform designer already generated a font, then that would explain what you're seeing.

Trying doing a reset of the property in the winform designer, close the form, (maybe even close VS.NET), and then reopen, and see if that works.

(Or better yet, delete the control, and then drop it on the form again)
