Guineu is written in VS.NET which has basically the same EULA as VFP. If a file wasn't distributable in VS.NET or VFP it's not distributable with Guineu. The rules have been set by Microsoft and I'm not going to violate them. Whatever you think about the rules, Microsoft does have the right to make them.

What the EULA says is that you cannot copy any file that Microsoft provided to a non-Windows platform. This includes any DLL, EXE, but also all images, the FoxPro fundation classes, any runtime library, and so forth. What you are allowed to distribute, though, are you own files as long as they do not contain any material provided by Microsoft. With VFP the actual problem is that you cannot distribute the VFP9*.DLL files to a non-Windows system.

Yes, but always wrapped in some way. Guineu has its own runtime environment much like VFP has and does not compile code to IL. If direct access to lots of managed objects is your goal, it might be better to use etecnologia's compiler.
