I'm writing a scanning application and am using different sounds to confirm a good/bad scan. When sent out to the field, some of the users have the sound muted on thier laptops. I'd rather just turn the sound on (and volume up) if possible while the app runs, and then return it to whatever state I found it in when the app stops.

Is there a way to do this? I don't have much experience controlling Windows with VFP.
