VFP help does say:[For a Column object, you can trigger Resize in code by setting the Width property for the column.] It doesn't appear to do so. I've tried every which way.
As for the rest (I'm near blue in the face trying) it seems like if you have a combination of width changes anywhere within the resize events, it ignores the width change. Maybe to avoid conflicts.

I'm going to start fresh tomorrow, see if I can't norrow it down.

What I'm trying to do, is get rid straight edit grids by converting them to much friendlier containers with labels, buttons etc.. (It's also easier than click to pop-up forms.). My next grid conversion does have images, so I betting you'll hear from me again <g>
