I have an application that prints to various printers... and their trays... This is the previous behaivour...

To print the report, on A5 paper we used to load the paper into the feed tray. Of course if the user forgot to set the tray with paper prior to printing, the printer would print from the second tray. So, we decided to add a third tray and put A5 paper in it.

Then we set the app to print to tray #3. This is what happens now. The feed light comes on the printer, but the print doesn't happen. The user has to press it to start the printing to tray #3.

The report has no printer developement set etc.

What is interesting, I have another report that prints to another printer and to tray #3 without user intervention. (This printer stores legal size paper and this prints without the "poke" from the user.)

The actual report is a few millimeters smaller than A5 size, but was designed using this size as opposed to a customer paper size.

In summary, the report does come out of the proper tray, however it requires user intervention to start printing.

Any ideas?

TIA,
Mike
