I've wasted all morning trying to figure out how to feed one (ANY) parameter to a RDLC based report on a web form.

I've created an XSD dataset and built a RDLC based report. I've dropped the report onto an ASPX page.

If I do not have any parameters in the XSD query, all is well and it displays great.

I've added one parameter to the queryy in the XSD. I can go into preview on the XSD, specify a value for the parameter (its a string) and preview the data w/o problem.

I've added a textbox and GO button on the form to take a string and then ..??

I've run in so many circles this morning I can't even begin to describe the contortions I've tried to get this to go. No matter what I've tried, I keep getting an error like..

"Failed to enable constraints. One or more rows contain values violating non-null, unique, or foreign-key constraints"

It suggests setting enableconstraints to False, so I managed to set EnableConstraints to False in the XSD.

Same error. I can still preview from the XSD designer just fine.

I'm about ready to lose my mind (what's left of it) over this stupid thing.

HELP????!!
