>What different do front loaded primaries make? He don't need no stinkin' primaries. He's an independant. All he has to do is be on the ballot in November and buy a billion dollars worth of TV time in September and October. He has 5 billion dollars personally.

I would call fact that more less everybody with few billion$ pocket money might hv serious shot at Presidential pallace a serious problem.

Is there any legal mechanisam in US ellectoral system preventing
guy with biggest buck making biggest bang and becoming president ?
Of the top of my head I could think of something like limiting funds
that can be used in campaign and/or limiting/dividing 'quality' TV time on equal bases between serious candidates.

What ever is there already to regulate this is obviosely disfunctional.
If all you need is lots of money and little bit of backward compatibility
clean up effort, then how can you trust general public to defend themselves
against loud campaign noises and choose who is really the best for the country. Seem that Personnal qualities/flaws of candidates does not count all that much any more, or I am wrong ?
Any toughts ?
