Well, it's not good, but at least it isn't 12 anymore... I tell you what - I just read through most of the states, and I cannot believe some of the conditions.
As far as I'm concerned - unless there's a pregnancy involved, it should be 18, no exceptions.
All joking aside about this guy in NC...I'd love to get him in a room and slap the living bejeezus out of him. A 40 year old SHOULD NOT be marrying a 16 year old. Either he's totally oblivious to the damage he's going to do to this girl, or he doesn't care.
