The _Ed* functions in FOXTOOLS.FLL are wrappers around VFP Ed* API Library Routines with names shortened to 10 characters. There're no _edSave() or _edClose() API functions. The closest one is _EdCloseFile() (_EdCloseFi() in FoxTools) that closes file with or w/o saving depending on the second parameter. See Extended Foxtools Help File #9333 for more info.
