Looks like I am getting closer to the solution (it is amazing what talking to yourself does to you <g>).
In order to add the following key:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Licenses\DB4C0D00-400B-101B-A3C9-08002B2F49FB]
@="mgkgtgnnmnmninigthkgogggvmkhinjggnvm"
I did the following:
1. I added Key "Licenses" to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
2. Added a key "DB4C0D00-400B-101B-A3C9-08002B2F49FB" to the key "Licenses". So now "DB4C0D00-400B-101B-A3C9-08002B2F49FB" appears as a folder under folder Licenses.
3. I set the default value of the key "DB4C0D00-400B-101B-A3C9-08002B2F49FB" to be "mgkgtgnnmnmninigthkgogggvmkhinjggnvm".
Is the above correct?
