I'll pass it on John. Here near or on Fort Bragg, the lines are REALLY long at the post office (a good thing) due to family and friends sending items to soldiers. I will probably send it from a post office near work when I am there (in Greensboro).

>I received an email from my daughter today. She sent it out to all the family and her friends asking people to remember her husband. I know there are many here who would love to help a guy out too, so I'm posting it here. Feel free to do as you are led.

>Tim was hurt in an attack a week ago, and is now recovering and about to get back out there. He received shrapnel to the legs, and I really don't know how good or bad he is, because he never tells me too much, he doesn't want me to worry. He is out of Taji, on a long mission, not sure when he will get back there, but mail still gets to him. He is having a good time, from what I hear in his voice,. The lines are tapped, on both sides, I am sure, so no important information can go through phone lines. I don't even know if he has been in the hospital! I do know that two of our men died in the attack (from another battery, though) and Tim's humvee is no more. Looks like the hege of protection I pray around him daily worked! I wanted to ask for your prayers whenever he or we come to mind. I am in school online, learning to write programs so I can work with my dad, and I have my 3 little ones and watch 3 others! I am staying at his mother's house, so I can attempt to save money while he is
>gone. I also teach preschool on sunday nights at church. Just trying to keep busy. He was originally going for 12 months, and the day they got there, they were told it will be 15 months...this one's on us. So, the kids and I will be here in Memphis till end of NEXT summer. I wanted to ask if you want to send a care package or letters, here is his address once again. I don't want his morale to get low, so I am petitioning any and everyone! They need things such as cash to get phone cards (cant get them here and send them), sunscreen, bug repellant, candy, trail mix, dried fruit, they have lots of water, so no need for that, hmm, what else? A lot of the guys dip Grizzly Wintergreen Longcut, which is NOT sold there, and they all love getting that! Any letters or anything. Anything to get in the mail at mailcall is exciting for them. If you get a flat rate Priority box from the post office, fill it, and send it, it is under $9 no matter how much it weighs, and I have found thta it fits
>just the right amount for a weekly care package from me! Here is his address, and he gladly hands out things to the other guys if you send bulk items. He has asked for sporting goods for the Iraqi children, because he is able to hand them out and make friends with the people. Many times in the past, the children have told the soldiers where the bombs are hidden, simply because the guys had given them gifts, so this is crucial!! Well, here is his address, if you would like to send Tim anything:
