>The wait is finally over. Our little miracle has finally come to us. Rachael Lauren Adams was born on July 24, 11:44pm, 7lbs. 1oz, 21" long, she was placed in our arms July 29. We only found out about her last Sunday (7/26) at about 10:00pm. The agency wasn't done with our home study and I thought that is what they were calling about- to set up a time to finish it up. Instead they told us the baby was born and the birth mother wanted to meet with us. We had to make many decisions in a very short period of time.

>Monday afternoon - finish home study
>Monday evening - meet birth mother, then decide on a name by 12:30 on Tuesday
>Tuesday afternoon - meet with attorney to sign papers and provide baby's name
>Tuesday evening - go to Babies-R-Us and pick up car seat, formula, diapers, basinette... the basics. Since we are slightly superstitious we held of on purchasing anything before we knew anything.
>Wednesday afternoon - go to court, make it official then drive back to the agency where Rachael was waiting for us.

>Meeting the birth mother was a very wonderful experience for us, she will always hold a very special place in our hearts and our prayers.
