Most people who have never been in the military have no idea how important mail is during basic training. Mail everyday, whether it be a short note or even just a newspaper clipping, is a godsend. No one wants to be standing out there at attention during mail call and be the one who receives nothing. Kudos to you for doing that for your brother! :o)
