I think so for me, at least in the summer. That's when I need some beach. Oddly enough for a Southern boy, I don't mind the winters here. This last Feburary was considered the coldest one for about twenty years and I was really surprised to hear that. I don't think it got below -20 in Minneapolis, but it stayed chilly for almost the whole month. Before I moved here that would have sounded pretty bad, but now I don't really notice it.
