Hello Steve,

This is correct - only the Hebrew version (build 05.00.00.0355) displayed RTL.
Unfortunately, MS produced only a limited number of CD's of this version, and we never got updates, patches etc. This will change with VFP 6.0, of course.
Now, to satisfy my curiosity - how did your INTL framework deal with Hebrew?

Bye,

Eylon

>>>I just checked the KB and there are no listings for RightToLeft, and this is consistent with my experience which is hearing nothing like this from any of my customers in the Middle East.
>>>
>>>I know that the version of Windows you use matters. What version and what localization of Windows are you using? RightToLeft only works on properly installed versions of Middle-Eastern localized Windows....

>>
>>There was a special version of VFP 5.0 for hebrew which reacted to the RightToLeft property - in all other versions it just ignored it.
>>In VFP 6.0 there will be no need for a special version and it works for all RTL languages (Arabic, Hebrew) with a properly localised version of windows.
>>
>>
>>The data is stored LeftToRight and displayed RightToLeft for Hebrew and Arabic , by context (meaning windows decides if such and such data is RTL orLTR).
>>This brings about some annoying bugs, which no one seems to be in a hurry to fix.
>>
>>Good Luck,
